Nice, decent church. However, the recolects who built this in the 1700s did not spend as much time and effort on carving the walls itself. Unlike the churches in Europe. Still, when visiting the cemetery, one should see this church.

I traveled a lot through Europe and I've seen my share of old beautiful churches, It definitely would make a list of my all-time favorites. It's not very impressive on the outside, but once you walk in, you will be pleasantly surprised.

This small basilica is said to be the second oldest church in the city and it has undergone many changes since the 18th century when it was first built as the chapel of a convent. It was at one time converted into an old people's...More

Is right next to the cemetery but the entrance is small and not rotulated so it can be easily missed. It is a small place that you can see in 20 mns but is very pretty,

Just a short walk from Plaza de San Martin is a beautiful place to see when you are close to the micro centro.

There are much better churches around the world. This one is nice but small and does not have ao much art as many others. There was a nice exposition though

This rather ordinary looking building houses another spectacular church, that is open during the day for free visits. However, although photography is allowed, you will be followed around by a priest who discourages you from taking pictures at every opportunity. It might make more sense...More

There's prettier churches in the city. Ask for Fr. Juan Martin if you're there, but other than the great people, not a beautiful church.

We were travelling as a family and our adults sons summed it up eloquently with their comment "awesome". A place to visit for quiet contemplation and respect for the locals who were praying there.

Characterised by the French-style mansions which are
