Farmácia de la Estrella (1835) a still operating pharmacy. What makes it special is the extravagant interior. Worth a short stop. The workers are used to people coming in just to take a look around.

Don't know why I went to this old-style still operating pharmacy - probably Lonely Planet made me do it - but it was a fun visit to the past.

Glad we went into this historic old pharmacy! It still operates as a business. The locals having their prescriptions filled as our guide explains the history. And the owners didn't seem to mind at all.

Lovely old farmacy, to step back in time. A little more expensive than the chains but worth it, for the ambience.

this connection to history: countless public
demonstrations have passed through this square, going
back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the
