I’m not a big church visitor but I couldn’t help but be impressed by this lovely calm cathedral in the middle of bustling La Plata. It’s as impressive as any of the big cathedrals in Europe without the massive crowds. Worth the 1 hour train...More
The cathedral and its history is quite interesting, but don't pay the entrance fee to the museum or the elevator ride. The museum itself might be interesting, but for some reason they added exhibitions with modern art which kind of destroys the whole experience. As...More

Cathedral is famous for its ceremonial wedding of Eva Peron. It was nice cathedral and nice escape from Buenos Aires by bus.
It's a place that you can't miss here. The architecture is nice the tour inside is the best. You're going to learn a lot about the history and the view of the city in the top is amazing.
We did a rainy day trip to La Plata and this was a perfect rainy day experience. The cathedral was really beautiful and lovely. We were very impressed with the architecture and it has been well maintained. Nice!
We did the tour under the Catedral and also went up the Tower. What a View!! You get to learn about all the history and they also have a little gallery with other artists displaying their work.
This is quite an imposing sight on the city's landscape. Beautiful architecture. Very impressed by this Cathedral, was not expecting something like this in this area of Argentina.
