Nice little park for kids

Nice park for little children to play in. Not much else going on in this park besides benches with shade to sit and relax

I'll rate this park and then I'm done rating Mendoza parks or I would be on my computer another 2 hours. This park was the first one I wandered into because it's directly across from my hotel... the El Portal Suites (see that review)..ALL parks in Mendoza are beautiful!!!!!!!

There are four small parks around Plaza Independencia, they are located at the same distance and of the same size, but this one is probably the least attractive out of four. You should probably try the other siblings instead.

It is a very pleasant place to relax with interesting monuments, benches to sit, areas to relax and for children to play. It seemed safe and we enjoyed it in spite of some signs of vandalism . It is one of the four main plazas of Mendoza.

Beautiful place, but unfortunately due to vandalism this square (and others) is very dirty. Need more cleaning and care.

It's not really worth making an effort to see this plaza. The statue is the main focal attraction but even that is nothing special.

This plaza was ok and still pleasant, it could use some work though, the fountains did not work, lots of rust on things, still pretty with all the nice trees and benches, come on Chile get to work ! lol

Simple, clean public space. Not much going on around it, and it wan't being enjoyed by any locals when i visited. The most interesting thing is the benches which are each decorated differently in the colours of chile.

Perhaps a reflected of Argentine-Chilean relations, this Plaza appeared to the most neglected of the four plazas that surround the main plaza. The Plaza itself had little of interest (one statue) and the streets surrounding the Plaza were partially commercial, including a gas station. Give it a pass.
