Great moderate hiking

Love the treasure loop trail. Just 2 1/4 miles with enough incline to get the heart rate up. Beautiful view of superstition mountain

This was one of the first places I visited in the Phoenix area. In February there were lots of wildflowers amidst the cacti. Plenty of trails to suit folks of various abilities. Most are suitable for children, Make sure you have water, a hat & sunscreen! $6 to get in.

We were lucky enough to visit here after lots of winter rain and early enough in the year that the weather was cool in the morning and the desert was incredibly lush. It was magical, beautiful, well worth the entrance fee. The trails from the parking area all seem to lead uphill, so come prepared - but the views will... More

This is the second time we've taken the 1-mile walk around the mountain and I'd recommend it for physical activity that is pretty easy. I think it's at the Merkel trailhead. Halfway through you can choose to go over the mountain instead or just continue. Beautiful desert scenery!

Our 5 year old son, surprisingly stated that he liked hiking, so we decided to come here and give it a shot. The trail started off fairly easy and the got progressively challenging. When we reached the cave, it made the hike worth it. The views are great. The hike was fun. It is busy, but if you are a... More

We went to this park to do some hiking. The visitors center staff helped us pick a trail. We hiked up the mountain on the Wind trail. View was great. Take lots of water.

Went to Users park while visiting Phoenix area. Did the Wind Cave trail. Worth the effort! A steady climb with breathtaking views from 800 feet up.

I have been hiking around Usery mountain for over 20 years. I have hiked with my kids and recently hiked with my 4 year old grandson. It is beautiful and a great work out.

I went to the Cave trail and walked the additional mile or so to the top. Beautiful views and the flowers are in bloom. Don't forget to look for the large honeycomb beehive in the ceiling of the cave.
