We typically always come up here for some shooting practice. A lot of fun, beautiful park. Just make sure you’re out of restricted target shooting areas and at least .25 miles from any recreation site, home or road. If you’re going to go shooting, don’t...More

Usery Mountain Regional Park has something for everyone! Classes, hikes, seminars, souvenirs, night time animal hunts, birding groups and more. Many are no or very low cost. Park Rangers are plentiful to answer unending questions and introduce you to a scorpion and rattlesnake.

This a semi rugged park with well worn trails. There are several signs advising to be aware of rattlesnakes in the area. The parks itself is in a natural state and the saguaro cactus were spectacular.

We had a nice hike on the Cat's Eye trail. More saguaros here than we have ever seen. It was easy going and just the right length for us, three miles.

Excellent Arizona public park, especially if you like company, human & canine. All the facilities you will need and a well maintained hiking trail of medium difficulty. Snowbird season (winter) is rather busy but the locals return in April. As always, bring plenty of water,...More
