The colours of the church dedicated to St Francis allows you to pick it out easily. A beautiful church with numerous altars and statues. Well worth a visit.

Lovely church, bright and bold colours from the outside for your photo album! Can’t comment on the inside as it was closed in the afternoon - like most churches.

This is perhaps the most beautiful church that I have seen in South America from the outside. At nighttime it is very impressive with the lights on, if you like to photograph these types of buildings this is a great opportunity.

This church looks new with its bright colors. It stands tall in this neighborhood. Inside is nice but I have seen so many more notable churches that I was disappointed. If you are near, take a peak but it is not worth a taxi ride.

Wish it would have been opened when passing by. It is fabulous from the outside and even more during the night when it is illuminated, can be seen from afar.

Highly decorated church constructed between 1625 -1870 with several rebuilds. The outside is a striking red and yellow colour. I side there are some old artworks.

This is the other church in Salta that one must try and visit. It's really a short walk from the Catedral de Salta and is as beautiful. I always wonder how they keep the outside colours so vibrant thru all weathers during the year.
