As a Welsh speaker I was very keen to visit and managed to find Welsh speakers here, in Dolavon and Trelew, visit Ty Gwyn tea house for the best selection of cakes ever. Also visit the school which was unfortunately closed although we did manage...More

Cute little Welsh town founded by the Welsh Methodist looking for religious freedom. The are great bakers. A must is a tea house. Not only are the sweets extra special but we heard a group of local singers perform with their lovely voices.

Gaimin is a cute town but a long way from Puerto Madryn. The Welsh settled this area and the town still promotes its heritage, teaching the language in the schools. It's not an easy language to learn.

Fuimos por la mañana para poder caminar por el pueblo. Creo que no vale la pena al menos que realmente tengan gran interés en la gastronomía galesa. We went in the morning so as to walk around. I think it is not worth it unless...More

If you're driving through, take a few minutes and look at some old historical buildings that are identified by small plaques. But, do not go out of your way to visit the town of Gaiman and expect a Sturbridge Village or historically correct village from...More
