We enjoyed this small museum which has English signage on some but not all exhibits, It was good to learn about the local history, peoples and animals in this incredibly beautiful part of the world.

A small museum but a welcome relief in a very commercial Bariloche. Quite a lot of local and regional info and facts. It would help to have good Spanish here to make the most of it.

Decent little museum in the heart of Bariloche. Was cool to see a condor (stuffed) close up to see what they actually look like and how large they are! They had a lot of interesting info about the land and animals that were nice to...More

A small museum located off the heavily graffiti'ed (as of Nov. 2016) Centro Civico plaza that mostly covers the indigenous peoples of Patagonia and the Spanish/Argentinian waves that came in the 1800s. Specifically, there were some informative displays about the Yamana people as well as...More

I enjoyed this museum mainly because of the historical artifacts. Lots of local taxidermy and knowledgable staff. If you have some time to kill, its a fun place to spend an hour or two and learn about the history of Bariloche and Patagonia.

Great for an hour! We enjoyed most the taxidermy and large mammal review for all North and South America. The populating of the Americas seem at variance with my understanding but that only prompted me back to my online resources. This fresh perspective was wonderful....More

It's a small local museum housed in a lovely old building with creakey floors. Probably would take an hour or so to go through. Particulary enjoyed the sections relating to the indigeneous populations before the arrival of the gauchos. Worth a visit if you are...More
