We did a boat tour called hielo del rio. Paid 2200 pesos each person. Is a bit touristic, there is two photographer in each boat which keep taking pictures and they get best spot in the boat, sometimes not allowing you to take pictures because they are taking it. Upsala is the first glacier you'll see but not too close,... More

this is one of the most beautiful experiences you could have in your life, the glaciers are stunning and the view you get from the boats is unbelievable, the shades of blue and white, are simply breathtaking, it is very windy and chilly so cover up, also, take a prepacked lunch from hotel is the best since food service is... I saw the Upsala Glacier from the boat tour on Lago Argentino. Between the "milky" waters of the lake, the icebergs all over and the stunning, polar, out of this world scenery... Be prepared for nature's wonders and an amazing experience!

Glacier was amazing but the boat trip was overpriced and too concerned with taking photos of people posing in front of an iceberg.

The area of this glacier is massive but not obvious from the catamaran view. We can only see the whole river was covered by a thick layer of ice but not easy to experience the massive ice, perhaps from the air will be better.

The views from the main viewing point reached only by 4X4 and a fifteen minute trek are the most amazing I have ever seen . The Uppsala Glacier and it's two friends are extraordinary to see and hear. The boat trip to Estancia Cristina for access is beautiful and dodges between the icebergs.

Not in Glacier park. I reached it by boat, a very bumpy 45 minute ride and a bit of a hike. Outstanding vistas. Quite windy when I went. Dress in layers!!!
