We went for an afternoon with Valley of Wolves. Although the hike was stunningly beautiful, safety should have been a much higher priority. We finished the hike in pitch black darkness and almost lost my friend. The meal was average.

This was a once in a lifetime hike, I absolutely loved it in every way. We got there in the afternoon around 3 (I would have gone earlier) and started a 2+h hike to the lake. It had rained that morning so it was quite...More

We were there on a wonderful Sunday sunny day, with a lot of couples and families. The length of the trail is only 4 km each way, but you have to take into consideration the mud and the climbing toward the lake. If you are...More

Be prepared for a 2 hours walk in and 2 back !!!. Take water and something to eat with you. Is not a very easy trail, parts are muddy and slipping. But the effort is worth it. The colors of the lagoon are incredible.

Lovely walk with great views. We took about 1.5 hours each way (we walk a bit faster than many people). It is quite popular, so you won't get the lake to yourself.

A great walk on a nice day. Check the weather forecast. It can get quite messy on a wet day as you are passing through beautiful... but wet... peat moss areas. Can be done in 4 hours if you don't meander. The trees dripping with...More

After walking for a couple of hours, the lake shows itself in front of you with its majestic crown of mountains. Through the path to get there, in between two forests, there is a lot of mud, bring good shoes and walking sticks.

If you have an extra morning or afternoon in Ushuaia I'd definitely recommend this hike, it's short and quick less than two hours one way and really easy to get to. We shared a taxi there with four people and were able to hitch a...More

There are mini buses leaving every now and then (once it gets like 4 people at least). So dont worry about the times.

Of course you can. You can borrow a car or take a bus to the point from where you start hiking. Ask in Ushuaia tourist centre.
