The place is a great place to snorkel, but the gear they rent is not the best. If you don't have your own gear there is a place at the Apia Flea markets that rents great gear for $10tala per day, which is very good....More

I went a few times and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and snorkeling. I think at low tide it would be impossible to go out, so only go during high tide. The bathrooms are horrible and owners need to make them nicer if they want...More

The day we went was sunny but the water was a bit choppy. The variety of coral & fish were beautiful. Its like swimming in a fish tank! Note to self - don't eat a deep fried lamb bun before snorkeling :-(

The coral in the reserve is the best I've seen for a long time and we have snorkelled Maldives, Fiji, Langkawi, Mergui Archipelago, Great Barrier Reef, Tahiti

This was one of our best days in Samoa, an easy walk from where we were staying, we had hired gear from near the markets. The facilities were simple, there was plenty of space to sit in the cool of the shade, seats and shelters...More

Having snorkelled in Bali Vanuatu Thailand and the Great Barrier Reef we were in agreement this was the best place we had ever snorkelled. An amazing abundance of fish and coral and at only 5 tala entry it was cheap. They have a take away...More

What a find! Centrally locates and cared for by a family, great snorkeling (couple hours either side of high tide) with plenty of sea life. Basic toilet and changing facilities and a snack/ drinks caravan too. Shaded areas mean you don’t need to race away...More

Nice and close to town and a great place for an introduction to snorkeling for some rookies. A short swim out at high tide to one of the two deep holes. The fish were not the best in number and the coral was showing signs...More

Loved it and the cost has risen since our last visit, but the facilities and ground are well worth the cost.

Even sitting in waist deep water near the shore we could still see plenty of fish, so it would be fine for anyone who is able to put their head under water. Having said that, there is a strong current (we weren't told about... More

They just rent out snorkelling gear - take your own food and drinks - lovely spots to picnic under shade. I think entry was about 5 Samoan tala or maybe 10 but terrific value. Saw loads of fabulous fish. Suggest one hour... More
