If you’re willing to fight the crowds at this flea market in a shed, you may find some interesting Samoan handicrafts or mats, and you can even watch works-in-progress.

We (as two woman) found the men were disrespectful and looked you up and down and made kissing sounds, we did feel uncomfortable. We REALLY wanted to embrace the people of Samoa and this was our first day and first experience. Would definitely NOT go...More

As a traveller, there are not too many destinations for those little mementos to take home, but a trip through the winding passages of the old market was somewhere where you could usually find something interesting. Such a pity that it burned down, as the...More

In a shed, all the stalls sell exactly the same wares, jewellery and clothes. How do they ever all survive??? It is cramped, hot and I would suggest if you want to buy kitch go early or late in the day to avoid the heat.

A Market is a market no matter where you go. Full of the usual vibe and goodies. Still a good place to purchase those souvenirs. One thing is the fabrics used are of good quality. Prices are fair.

Yes, the market has been rebuilt completely and is much cleaner and airier. Hope you enjoy it!
