I am somewhat afraid of heights so I let my husband drive this part and am so glad I did! The vistas were amazing and the hairpin turns were really something. I cannot imagine what this road was like In it's heyday!

I had read quite a bit about the Route 66 trip, and many warned of this part. As long as you stick to the speed limits and KEEP your eyes on the road, it is a fun drive.

We drove out of Oatman this way, very scenic. A few pull over spots for taking pictures which is nice. Lots of hairpin turns, you dont want a wide vehicle on this road.

We drove through here on our Route 66 road trip. It's one of the most spectacular drives of the entire 2,400 mile trip - don't skip it! It's a great drive and really has some epic views. On the western side is the town of...More

Historical Route 66 in Arizona is worth the longer drive in order to see the sights! We are photographers and traveling this road was, at times, scary, but oh, so worth it! When able, stop along the road to really take in all the views...More

The drive up through the hills to the top of the pass is winding and some may find it a bit narrow in places. The view at the top looking down the pass is impressive (there is a great spot to stop at the top)....More

You gotta stop and enjoy the desert from this eagles perch. Not congested even on the weekends. A Beautiful drive through the desert. Very much worth the drive off the beaten path. Beautiful!!

Sitgreaves Pass ie Route 66 is a MUST ride/drive. Route 66 is a slow must see as is Oatman AZ. The pass road is in good shape and the view are awsome!

Sitgreaves Pass on the old historic Route 66 between Kingman and Oatman is a must to do, at least once. It is a very winding road through the mountains without safety barriers for most of the way which made my wife in the passenger seat...More

The scenery was Great but the Narrow Road Was Horrible. Some curves were 10 miles an hour and that was fast. This is coming from Kingman into Oatman. It is many miles of a Very Winding Road.

The view from Kingman in the morning is stunning. It also puts the sun behind you for better photo ops.

If you make your trip from Kingman and go over the pass, it means you are going to go through Oatman and you will want to stop there. However if you just pass through Oatman and go down to 95 business through Bullhead to 163... More

I am unsure of where you are headed for in the Grand Canyon, but Oatman appears to be out of the way as Oatman is halfway between Kingman and the CA border. From the Grand Canyon you could head south toward I-40 and... More
