My husband and I took our 9-year-old grandson here to participate in one of their space simulations entitled, "Rendevous With a Comet." It was a unique experience as we were each given a responsibility to perform during our simulation which lasted for two hours.

Karl was so knowledgeable it made the visit even more special. The exhibits are so well done and respectful of our brave astronauts.

Self guided tour was a waste of time and money. There were a couple of interesting displays, but most were boring. Other space centers that I have visited have been amazing. This one was extremely disappointing.

This was an incredible event. I took with my son with me who is 24 years old for a business meeting during the week and we had some extra time so I scheduled this. While I was uncertain from the description on the website of what this event actually was I was completely impressed and excited about the experience. These... More

My grandsons loved it, but I found it a little boring. I have been around long enough to remember many of the space shuttles, and have seen other displays that are interesting to me, but may be a little much for children.

Ventured to the Challenger Space center on recommendations from a dear friend,& took our guests from out of town. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable & enthusiastic. We were thoroughly entertained from start to finish, so fascinating is the world we live in. Imagining these extremely courageous astronauts blasting off into the atmosphere to explore galaxies unknown, is so inspiring. Some... More

There was really nothing to do. It would be cool for a school field trip but not very interesting for adults. I love space travel and NASA but didnt find much to see.

I wish more people would visit because then there would be more resources for upkeep. It's an interesting, if dated, exhibit. Certainly a worth-wile trip for kids, as it will give great insight into our (defunked) space program.

We were at the Challenger Space Center for their STEAM Fashion Show Fundraiser on 11/12, and we said this would be a great place to visit with our grandchildren. Lots of pictures, art, info on space missions and communications. Jordan Goddard put on a demonstration using liquid nitrogen that was really cool! The fashion show was great!

We took an out-of-town relative here Nov. 12, and there was really nothing to do. Not sure what we paid for. Lack of interactive activities. No tour guides available. Even the screen where you can usually bounce the planets was closed for updating. All the doors to the mission control areas were locked. Bottom floor was being set up for... More
