We love the Phoenix Theater for its choice of musicals, its terrific casts and live orchestra and classy, contemporary venue. The theater is small, every seat is good. The director/producer, Michael Barnard is a creative genius who selects incredible talent and gets the most energy...More

Phoenix Theatre is consistent in delivering high quality professional entertainment. My favorites are the musicals because the caliber of singing and dancing makes me feel like I am back on Broadway.

Best musical theatre venue in central Phoenix and perhaps the valley. Solid professional level work...after a fine Mama Mia and an edgier Hedvig and the Angry Itch, Newsies is now running. Also Tuna Christmas and musical cabarets. Michael Barnard is the managing director and long-time...More

On the small side but very clean and modernized. Is in a complex shared by the Phoenix Art Museum which is a blessing because it gives the theater a very clean, safe, comfortable feel. Doors open into a garden-type atmosphere with trees, cafe, walkways, works...More
