I consider myself to be in fairy good shape, and this trail was a physical challenge! When I hit the boulders I figured I was just about done, but no, the biggest challenge was ahead. I had good hiking boots which helped immensely, but wish...More

This was one of the most challenging/difficult hikes I’ve ever done, but it was totally worth it. Go early before it gets hot and make sure you have plenty of water. Needed both hands at times, so bring a backpack to put your water in,...More

I've hiked all over the world and this short but very challenging hike (2.4 mi. up and back) is a jewel. I wouldn't recommend this for people who aren't fit or are faint of heart. The views, particularly at sunrise were awesome. Lots of people...More

Plan on spending a few hours on the way up. It can be incredibly steep, so we had to take lots of breaks. We went down the trail on the otherside, which offered new views. I recommend it!

I was huffing and puffing at the end, but it was well worth it. The trail is very steep at times. Started before daybreak and avoided the heat. Just missed sunrise. Took about an hour to get to summit.

Decided to go with some co workers. The trail is very challenging however if you are up to it the views from the top are outstanding. Great way to spend 3 hours on a sunny, but not too hot afternoon.

This is 1.2 miles straight up and then 1.2 miles straight down. You have to be in excellent shape and strong. Do not attempt this hike if you aren’t in good shape, can’t lift your body weight or don’t have stamina. Be sure you have...More
