Came over from Sedona because I read that they now have 18 holes. 3 dollar admission to the park isn't horrible, its actually "per car" so grab a couple of friends and its a buck a person. The course is awesome. There are elevate baskets,...More

It took me by complete surprise. There are multiple trails in the park, but make sure you don't just go to the overlook to snap a picture and turn around. If physically fit, park near the boat ramp and hike INTO to rock formation, or...More

Beautiful spot for a walk/hike for varied abilities. There were boulders for some climbing. A small golf disk course. Or just a destination for a ride to visit for some beautiful scenery Watson Lake is a great.

This lake was amazing. The granite dells sticking out the water were fascinating and added so much interest to the lake. The hike around the lake starting at the granite dells was so fun because the hike is all up and over the granite rock...More

Even if you don't hike this is worth a stop to see the huge rock formations and the water. Unfortunately the water level is pretty low having been a very dry year but the site is still impressive. Bring water if you are going on...More

My wife and I took a very nice day hike around a part of Watson Lake last month. A very beautiful lake with fantastic rock formations! We were amazed that this lake was so close to the city.

While it's not exactly an Adirondacks Lake, Watson Lake provides a reasonably ok place for a few hours' hike, or less. Rocks at one end are striking and trails vary in length. One trail circles the modest sized lake, but if you have less time...More

We did not walk around the lake, though there was a path available. Picnic areas with tables and a gazebo. We drove up by the gazebo and took photos of the interesting rock formations. We were lucky since there were no day fees on Wednesday.

Located immediately off the main drag, accessible to the retired residents and their RC sailboats- the only watercraft witnessed, although there is a launch. The water level was critically low, which I think contributed to the swarms of buzzing insects along the trail that we...More

Yes, you can bring chairs to hang around the lake on and there are plenty of rocks to sun on.

There is no swimming and motorized boats are not allowed. It is a beautiful lake, but there is radon in the area. I suggest you don't spend much time there. I love Watson Lake and the Dells and have taken many friends there... More
