This is a beautiful lake with rock formations called dells. Boating in the form of kayaking and canoeing is available. There is also a fishing pier. A variety of birds can be seen. Picnicing and hiking trails.

Very scenic. Lots of kayaks in the water. I was not sure if we had to bring our own or if there was a rental available. Plenty or parking. Lots of easy to navigate trails.

If you're physically fit, take the loop trail all the way around the lake (we went counter-clockwise, traversing the flat section first). Simply stunning views of the lake and the ancient, oddly shaped boulders, many of which one must scramble over. Highly recommended. Well marked...More

My wife and I rented a kayak that sits two people for $25 for one hour, and kayaked around Watson Lake. The kayaking was easy and the huge boulders around the lake were great to look at. They charge $15 for additional hours of kayak...More
