I can't say we really enjoyed our visit to this zoo... We have stopped in many over the years. Many of the exhibits really seemed neglected and honestly, some of the animals looked pretty cramped. You can tell many working in the park really care.

Went to visit with family visiting from Syracuse. They have a 12 year old daughter who loves animals so we wanted to take her there. Very nice facility and clean. Just enough to look at too. Glad we went in the morning as it was warm today and the animals were lively. Read where they nap in the afternoon. Really... More

The price to enter the zoo is appropriate for this attraction. The place is not large. We went at 2 PM near the end of April. Most creatures were napping. The Bear was being fed. That was a treat. The zoo is well-maintained, has nice restrooms, great gift shop, and friendly staff.

When we first arrived the volunteers told us to hurry up the hill to see Cassie (the Bengal tiger) getting fed. It happened to be "bone day" - a once a week occurrence. The bones are very important to Cassie - she was very protective of the bones, and made a lot of noise and seemed to be threatening us.... More

We were in Prescott and visited the zoo. It is a small non-profit zoo with animals that have been rescued or are given by other zoos with not enough room for them. The enclosures are nice with room for the animals to roam. There are areas for reptiles and birds. The grounds are well kept and the staff are friendly.... More

A very good selection of different animals. Also selection of different reptiles and a tarantula cave. The highlight for me and my family was the 1:15 feeding of Sach the black bear. He is adorable and it seemed like he enjoyed the crowd. That alone was worth the admission! Plan on spending a lot of time there. They have picnic... More

Nice little zoo. You are pretty close to the animals. We Saw one of the Bears being fed. I loved the little red fox. So cute. We enjoyed our visit.
