Beautiful Lynx Lake is so close to town, yet just the place to take some time and relax.....plenty of picnic tables and benches around the Lake. Fishing is another option. Canoeing and kayaking are fun on this lake too. A very serene place!

An easy trail around the entire lake with a nice covered area with picnic style park benches and tables to stop and rest 1/2 way. Lots of beautiful dense trees and shrubs and a scenic view of the lake the whole trail. Many other hikers,...More

Scouted the lake out while in the area for a future kayak visit. Will be back as it looks like a nice little spot for some paddling. Not a big lake but big enough to paddle around a bit in the pines.

I have hiked some great trails around the lake. I had lunch at the little ethnic cafe. Some tasty unusual items on their menu. You can bring your fishing pole, kayak or canoe.

Wish we could have stayed more than an hour or so to explore (and that I had brought suitable footwear to do some hiking). I will definitely return, maybe with a picnic lunch. A beautiful setting and the trails seem like they would be in...More

Nice campground, beautiful trail around the lake. Restaurant serves up great tasting meals as you watch the hummingbirds flit around the feeders out the window

This is a beautiful park. There paved paths or some that are more challenging. The views are amazing and it is super close to town, where out hotel was. There are pavilions with grills and picnic tables for cookouts. There were several people fishing alone...More

There are lots of trails for the stroller. Bring your food with you. There are no rentals. This area is very wooded, but beautiful if you like nature. I would bring lots of water and sunscreen. There are picnic areas.
