Good tour guide named Bruce. Many interesting facts about why Frank Lloyd Wright ended up building a summer home and studio in Scottsdale - was an early settler there.

We are fans of Frank Lloyd Wright. This is very different from Talliesin in Wisconsin, which makes it very interesting. It can only be visited with a tour guide and its not cheap at 35 dollars per person. But certainly it's worth it... actually you...More

I am a huge fan of FLW and would not have missed this. His incredible designs are wonderful to see. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and filled in so many personal details of the Wright family. Always a great visit.

Taliesin West conveys an entirely different perspective on the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. The architecture is uniquely suited to the environment and was built by Apprentices. It remains an active academic institution with around 40 students at any given time. The basic tour takes...More

Great tour of a very unique property. Tour guide provided some great insight to what flw was trying to accomplish with design of the property. Disappointing that you can not wonder the property on your own. They want you to be at the facility early...More

Definitely worth checking out if you have an interest in architecture or even living in the desert or some history of the Scottsdale area.

Had a very interesting detailed tour of Taliesin West. Our tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He seems to enjoy both his job and the facility. Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home and architecture school is an interesting and educational day. Check this out!

Our guide on the 90 minute tour (that lasted almost 120 minutes) did an excellent job giving details on FLW's life and experiences. The architecture school is unique and his style is evident throughout. While the tour seemed pricey initially, it was well worth the...More

It is certainly worth the visit, although I think that the price of $40 for a 1.5 hour walking tour (inside tour) is a bit steep. For a family of 9 that was a bit expensive. Also, our guide while friendly and entertaining was not...More
