I have always enjoyed looking at house designs by Frank Lloyd Wright. I never thought about the why and how each item works. The tour was excellent. I very much appreciated learning so much.

BACKGROUND So, I've been exploring the dwellings of (mad) geniuses this week, and yesterday, I had the chance to stop by Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West, located in North Scottsdale, named after his summer home in Taliesin, Wisconsin. FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT Few have never heard...More

Taliesin West was Mr. Wright's winter home and part of his architecture school. It was originally built as a place for roughing it and current students still do live in primitive shelters. The main buildings were where the Wrights lived had canvas roofs and open,...More

I tagged along with my husband on a business trip to Phoenix. I came alone to tour Taliesin West while he worked. It was worth every penny. I highly recommend it and would actually do it again with my husband in the future. I learned...More

The 90 minute tour is priced a bit high ($32 pp), But, our guide was knowledgable and humorous. You get to see where Frank Lloyd Wright spent his summer months and come away with a better understanding of his unique contributions.

Tour of Taliesin was superb. Knowledgable guide led us through the property and allowed us to sit, photograph and feel the rooms, unlike at Falling Water ( which is understandable). Cost was reasonable and gift shop and coffee shop were fine. Was so impressed that...More

I believe that most areas that the tour goes should be accessible. A lot of the walking tour goes over areas that are gravel covered, but it seems like they are passable. As I recall (I do not have your concern and... More
