An easy, and easily adjustable hike. We went to the top, but given time constraints, did not continue on to the other end (this is an out an back trail, with the high point in the middle). Excellent views of the surrounding area. Plants are marked for those interested in desert flora. Even saw a curled snake (well, part of... More

Excellent advice in previous review - early is better due to heat. Very little shade. Moderate hike with mostly incline in & mostly decline out. Trail is actually longer than 3.5 miles it's advertised to be; you can turn around at any point & return to starting point. Trail is easy to discern; there are signs posted for rock climbers... Came here to start the day. Good thing to get here early due to the heat and sun. The peak is about 2300ft in elevation with winding trails. They did a good job of providing vegetation information along the way to read and research. This looks to be a hotspot for Locals as much as tourists. We entered on one... More

I really enjoyed Pinnacle Peak. The park has good parking close to the trail head. The park is free to access and has nice wide groomed trail. This is a decent hike with round trip of 3.5 miles. The trail is lined with many of the areas wild flowers and they have signs letting non green thumb folks like myself... More

Amazing vistas and a very moderate hike. The hike has a nice mix of up and down. View of Estancia Golf Course and huge desert houses. Early April is great because wildflowers and cacti are blooming.

Excellent trail. Sometimes crowded but trail width permits ample foot traffic. Rest stops are excellent and very informative. Trail well marked. Informative trail signs about flora and fauna.Visitors Center at trailhead with bathrooms, water fountains , and staffed office with visitor window.

After hiking Echo Canyon Trail on Camelback with our 9 and 11 yo boys, we were underwhelmed with this trail. This is not a summit hike. The highest point on the trail is about 1/2 mile in; then you go up and down and up and down for the next .75 miles until you turn around and go back. If... More
