Two forks is a nicely sheltered walk along Oak Creek. The undulations are gentle and we (a couple in our late 60s had no trouble with the footpaths). However the path crosses the Creek 13 times in its 3.3miles (one way) and after 6 times stumbling into the water we'd had enough and turned around (to do the same 6... More

We've made this trip in three seasons so far and it's beautiful no matter what. If you're coming from Flagstaff, it's a delightful drive alongside Oak Creek with numerous places to stop and admire the scenery. If it's summer, try Slide Rock!

Excellent trail for hiking, easy to follow. Take good shoes as there are lots of crossings of the creek- not difficult to do but wet feet may happen. This was so much fun and the end of the trail was a great way to get up close with the red rocks! The trail is relatively easy and flat, most kids... More

Who took this scenic drive on a tour to the Grand Canyon. It's a definite must-see and worth the time and the curvy roads. A must see. It helps to have a tour guide who can tell you everything you're looking at and give you history of the area.

The hike was amazing!! So many breathtaking scenes! They say it's about 3.2 miles to where the trail end and you need to take your shoes off to get into water and walk, it's closer to 5 miles. We went around 10:45 am and the lot was full. We parked on the street and walked in. Worth every penny to... More

Go slow and take in the view - there is nothing else quite like this drive in Arizona. Best way between Sedona and Flagstaff. There is something majestic and peaceful about this place that makes you feel very small. I would highly recommend travelling in both directions if you can.

The drive from Sedona to Flagstaff on Route 89A is vey scenic. There are several pullouts along the drive and a lot of spectacular views to be had. The rise in elevation from Sedona to Flagstaff is about 2,500 feet. There are lots of hairpin turns as the road consists of switchbacks. At the top of the Canyon, there is... More

Just passed through this both ways on the way to the Grand Canyon. Incredibly scenic and enjoyable on the switchbacks thru the canyon

There can be a lot of traffic. We were headed North in the late afternoon and had considerably less traffic than seemed to be heading south, back into Sedona. Plan well. The scenery is worth stopping to drink it all in.

I am so glad we took the truck on this trip!!! The pot-holes on this stretch of road are "3rd-World." Seriously. Luckily I had the alignment done with an extended 6 month adjustment period. It needs aligned again thanks to this ridiculous road. DO NOT TAKE A LOWERED VEHICLE ON THIS ROAD, and if you drive a road handler be... More
