Mostly flat trail until the last 3/4 to a mile, then uphill. Definitely worth the hike and don’t miss going under the bridge for more beautiful views! Take water and go to the bathroom before heading out. No facilities

The natural bridge at the end of the hike was really cool. Great views of the red rocks behind the bridge. A couple of things to look out for. First, it is a bit tricky as you come back down from the top. They built...More

I had knee surgery just about a month ago so I had trepidation about the hikes we wanted to go on. This was definitely worth the hike to the top (and the boulder scramble towards the end). What a magnificent view! We hiked early in...More

This is one of those places you have to visit and get a photo. You'll be a little weak in the knees if you fear heights, but there really is plenty of room to move around. Go do ti.

Everyone has got an opinion about this site. Here's mine. First of all this trail is longer than advertised. Expect at least 4 miles or longer. We took a little side tour and it took us 5 miles round trip from the parking lot. The...More

While the trail isn't the prettiest of all trails, it's worth the trek to see this marvel. Make sure and bring plenty of water as it can get hot and there isn't much shade. Even when it was 85 degrees out, there were quite a...More

I was here two years ago with my dad on a cross country road trip. I was pretty out of shape at the time and could do it fairly easily. It's not a gradual incline, so it turns out to be a fairly short hike...More

Fabulous, but beware, can be very busy on Dry Creek Road for parking before entering the area. It is ot a hard hike, but beautiful area and scenery all around of the Red Rocks.

If you don't have an all terrain vehicle you will need to park a greater distance from Devil's Bridge; about 3.8 miles round trip. Part of it is on a dirt road(the road you would use with the all terrain vehicle). Go early in the...More

Devil's bridge is probably not for you if you are scared of heights. The last part of the hike is vertical. The hike house in town would be an excellent source of information on trails to take. I cannot comment on... More

It took about 40 minutes from the end of the pavement to get to the bridge. As for choosing one hike to take, this is the one I would recommend.

You will need to park at the Drycreek Vista Trail head. There's parking there or even farther out to the main road the blacktop is also parking but your walk would be farther. From Drycreek Vista, the walk is 1.8 miles one... More
