Always wanted to try the Devils Bridge Hike and finally got a chance. Most people park on Dry Creek Road however we chose to try Long Canyon Road and found much better parking at the Mescal or Chuckwagon Trailhead. Go to end of Dry Creek Road and turn right on Long Canyon Road. This trail adds a little bit longer... More

This place is awesome. Recommendations are to park at trailhead and hike earlier in the day rather than later. One, because the first part of the hike is not shaded and gets full sun (and is hot), second is because this trail gets crowded and once you actually get to the base of the mountain, you are climbing straight up... Fairly easy hike until the last 1/4 mile. The end is worth the straight up climb. Devils Bridge offer awesome views of the red rocks and valley below. Keep going and do the Chuck Wagon trail!!

We went early and had the bridge to ourselves for a little while, before a few groups arrived. The view on the way up is stunning in some places, hadn't expected that.

Long hike if you go the long way but really not difficult and more scenic than the dirt road from dry creek but it is slightly difficult once you reach the actual devils bridge trail head, it was very scenic and awesome views from the top, everybody was cool about taking pictures for each other so definitely a good experience

Just go in the morning before all the pink trucks and all groups start to flooding this trail. I started from Prescott at 7am. I drove to the Mescal trailhead at Long Canyon Rd (just Google Mescal trailhead on the map) where I parked my car and hike the trail to Chuck Wagon Trail and than to Devil's Bridge Trail.... More

Really cool hike, trail is well established, but can be pretty challenging at times it becomes a climb. Hiking up and and back down the trail took about 3 1/2 hours. amazing photos from the top if you want to walk across the bridge.

We took the long way up to devils bridge. It was easy at first but then it did get difficult. There were rocks to climb but once you got out to the bridge it was so neat. Some of us opted to walk over the bridge and a few just watched people walk over and back. I think the watching... More

It was a cool hike, well worth the uphills to get to the bridge. The trail was well marked also. Once you get to the bridge you have to wait your turn to take pictures but the pictures there are worth the wait.
