Not very long but worth a trip. There's metered parking on the street and free parking available (just look for signs). Lots of souvenir shops and restaurants.

The Main Street of Sedona has sadly developed into a fairly tacky place with cheap eateries, craft abd gift shops and not a lot else,It could have been quite classy but forget the street and focus on the views.

The area is typical for eating ,drinking, and tourist shops. The surrounding area makes the shops pretty pleasant

Any hotel in the Sedona area is close to hiking trails. You can easily do both with no problem. I like the Courtyard as it is in the middle of town and then you can hike out to wherever you want to go.
