About
Have a taste of the old west at Sedona's Main Street. Along this lively street, you'll find cool art galleries, restaurants, cowboy shops, and mystics selling crystals and offering tarot card readings. When hunger strikes, have a bite at a cowboy restaurant. Eateries on both sides of the street offer great views—the Red Rocks on one side and Oak Creek Canyon on the other. Bars typically don’t stay open late, but you can still grab a cocktail and stay for the stunning sunset. Pop by Main Street for souvenirs on a tour of Sedona and the nearby red rocks. – Tripadvisor

This is a great area for Souviners. Lots of cool shops and unique items and usual 20 shirt shops. Had a great supper at the wood fired pizza place.

Went to do the trolley ride, no parking, my husband had given his phone to his mom as the trolley tickets are electronic, he finally found a parking space only to realize you can only pay on your phone, didn’t have time to come back before the trolley left so knew he would get a parking ticket probably, sure did, $60! For a parking ticket! That is a ridiculous price to pay for a parking ticket.

The views from Main Street in Sedona are just that "MAIN" - awesome, however, the whole town is a tourist trap with not much to offer as a genuine experience. It is still a part of the Sedona experience.

Walking up and down Main Street in Sedona is fun. We found great souvenirs, great ice cream, and a nice spot to eat. The views are breathtaking. The parking is a chore though, so be warned. It is a very peaceful and beautiful experience, don't miss it as a part of your Sedona experience.

Your experience of Main Street will be very subjective. I went because the guidebooks present it as a "must do," so I felt compelled to check it out, but I would say, don't feel like you're missing something if you skip it. You don't need to visit it to get a sense of Sedona. For me, it felt a bit like a very nice shopping center that happened to be in a spectacular natural setting but wasn't anything particularly special.

Main street is very hippie! A lot of gems, tarot readings, etc. Definitely walkable once you get down there to different shops and eats.

One of the most beautiful places. Situated by the most beautiful rock formations. The drive to Sedona was worth the trip itself! Stunning is all I can say. The stores/shops etc are quite expensive so plan on droppings hundreds if not thousands if you go. We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip here. I would definitely go back but would spend a weekend or couple of days in a spa there.

Sedona's Main Street is a nice place to go for a walk. There are many restaurants and shops to explore. When I was there, Northern Arizona Rescues and Reptiles had a display there with snakes you could even touch.

We stayed 4 days in West Sedona at the Alma de Sedona Inn. The room was clean, spacious and quiet but a bit dated. Delicious gourmet breakfasts served poolside. Our hostess, Lori, was wonderful during our stay, providing many tips, maps & suggestions. Thunderhead hiking trails were within walking distance of the inn. Many hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty a short drive away. Beautiful scenery! Stunning sunsets from the cultural park & airport areas.
Visited Prescott en route from Phoenix to Sedona. Cottonwood, Jerome & Clarkdale a short 30 minute drive from Sedona. Flagstaff -a beautiful scenic 1 hour drive on 89A.
Not much time to browse the shops after a day hiking, as most close at 5. Restaurants were open a bit later.
Great place if you enjoy the outdoors!

This was my first visit to Sedona. Just beautiful! The downtown area is clean with plenty of signs to help with directions and parking. Lots of restaurants.

I'm disabled, not in a wheelchair, but I can't do hiking or long walks, is there anything we can do besides hiking?

We did not do any hiking. You can rent or take jeep rides if you desire. We just walked up and down main street heading into shops. Some of the shops have very step stairs.

We have one day- which hotel is best to stay at if we wanted to get hiking and shopping done in one day? Is that possible? Thanks!

Sedona and the nearby Village of Oak Creek are both small so hiking and shopping can be done in one day. Beware, the scenery is so beautiful, you'll want more time no matter what you do! There are many, many hikes, with trails for every fitness level. A few of our favorites are Brins Mesa, Soldiers Pass and Bell Rock. If you have time, do a Jeep Tour (We like Pink Jeep) on Broken Arrow for some great 4-wheeling and spectacular views. The hotels will have free hiking trail maps, or you can google Sedona Hikes or see TripAdvisor things to do. Use TripAdvisor to find a hotel or B&B that fits your budget and you'll be fine getting to wherever you decide to go. We like L'Augerge de Sedona for a splurge and incredible customer service - hiking on property creekside, and a walk up the hill to Main Street for shopping and restaurants. Briar Patch Inn is a terrific Bed & Breakfast right on the creek. The Adobe Grand is spendy but super romantic. Don't miss the shopping and galleries at Tlaquepaque outdoor market - easy to find, but not on Main Street. Enchantment Resort is further away from Main Street but the views, hiking and spa are beautiful. Check out the Best Western Plus Inn of Sedona for a nice stay and a great value. Have a fantastic trip! The Sedona area is truly one of the most beautiful, jaw-dropping places on earth.
What can I do in Sedona with my girlfriend for two days?

Go on a Pink Jeep tour, ask for Roger Johnson and go to Telaquepaque to see the high end Art stores. Walk the path to Bell Rock from the car park off 179 in the village of Oak Creek

Anywhere in Sedona has beautiful views and the town is small enough it does not really matter where you are located. Just pick something in your budget.

We were in a gift shop on the Southern side of Main until after 10pm when we were there last. Hope you enjoy Sedona!!
