Phenomenal view and a wonderful sense of serenity. Mom is 90 and was not going to be able to walk up to the chapel because the ramp is quite steep. They had a wonderful gentleman named Steve at the base of the ramp who had a wheelchair and he pushed her up and brought her back down. It was the... More

I was so pleased I made it to see this chapel. The way it is built into the rocks is such a gorgeous sight! I didn't know it is on the list of national historic places. There is not a lot of parking at the very bottom, but if you are lucky enough to get a space there, and if... More

Told to see this as a priority. It did not disappoint. Amazing location and a study on eco-design. Gorgeous scenery and a great place for meditation.

We drove down from Scottsdale to explore Sedona for the day and stopped off at the Chapel on the way. We saw it from the road from some way off and it appeared to be coming out from the rock face and very impressive. We followed the signs and found it easily. Even though there were plenty of visitors, we... More

Absolutely astounding. The story of how it came to be is amazing and the views from both inside and outside are fantastic. There are multiple levels of parking so don't stop at the bottom...climb all the way to the top first to see if you can find a spot.

My husband and I made it a point to visit the Chapel on our recent visit to Sedona. The chants, readings and songs were very powerful and soothing. I came away from the Chapel feeling like a new person.

An easy drive from Sedona on Hwy 179. There is parking below the Chapel, where you can get some great photos. There is also more parking further up near it with a short uphill walk to get the the entrance. Great views of Sedona and the chapel itself is beautiful.

The beauty, the energy, the lovely chapel trail. Take your time and drink in the beauty of it all! And above all, be one with spirit. It is moving and peaceful to even non-Catholics. And... the architecture is fascinating! A visit to the gift shop is interesting too! Light a candle, send love to a loved one, have grace. It's... More
