One of the main reasons I wanted to visit Sedona was to experience the night sky that I can no longer see in Florida where I live. My son and I spend 3 nights in Sedona. We decided not to take a tour with the Sedona Star Gazing. However we adventured ourselves the evenings that we were there up to... More

Star gazing away from town was beautiful! The guide was very informative, and almost shared TOO much information. The only downside was that the evening we went was FREEZING and it was quite hard to be outside for 1.5 hours. If you go in the winter be prepared for cold weather.

Viewing the stars in the night sky was a different experience from any planetarium I've visited. The sky became more familiar and I felt I became better acquainted with parts of known constellations. The guide was knowledgeable. I loved everything I saw. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

You will think you are lost as you drive out to the meeting spot, but keep going and look for the sign to the left - in the dark. The guides are all independent astronomy buffs and very knowledgeable. We happened to be there during the super harvest moon and that made it difficult to see some of the stars... More

Sedona has worked hard to maintain a dark sky environment, so bring a flashlight when you visit! Find any spot off the hwy areas on 179 and you will be AMAZED at the stars, satellites, meteors, and airplanes moving in the night skies. Who knows, even a UFO (!)

Saw lots of shooting stars, constellations, amazingly beautiful. Very clear night that you can see Pleides. You should go out with a reference book, if ur a novice like me!

We were supposed to do stargazing on 12/20/2016. Because it was cloudy the company texted me and told me the star gazing was cancelled. I am very happy that they didn't try to trick us and have us out on a bad night. Instead they refunded me.

This was one of my highlights of my trip it was not only beautiful but also so informative. Our host was Dave and I must admit I have studied a lot of astronomy in my day but he was on his game. Taught me so much and he was even givin some questions that I thought might stump him. Nope... More

This was an amazing experience! Being from Queens, NY I am not used to a sky full of stars to begin with, but this was like nothing I have ever seen before! Sitting in a field on lawn chairs with blankets with a gazillion stars above you was so authentic and just one of the greatest moments I've ever had.... More
