I literally just left the store after waiting 15 minutes for service. Two gentlemen, who appeared to be employees, and one lady, who may also be an employee at the snack Store, we're talking the whole time. My wife and I waited 15 minutes but no one bothered to assist us while We waited in a vacant cafe/hiking maps are... More

The number of trails in Sedona can be overwhelming. Mike at the hike house was extremely helpful in help me narrow down where to go based on my specific request. It's clear he and the rest of the staff are passionate about what they do and inspire the same in others!

We stopped here to get some information about hiking in Sedona. What a gem of a place! Very informative about all area trails, helpful and friendly with first hand knowledge. Also, a day after arriving, I needed an unexpected replacement of hiking shoes, they were very knowledgeable about different types of shoes and I ended up getting a really great... More

Stopped into the Hike House for trail recommendations. Mike gave us loads of information and made excellent suggestions for hikes that perfectly suited our time constraints and familiarity with hiking. Good to know that hiking the red rock trails is measured in approximate time it takes to do the hike, not necessarily distance. The 5 miles up Bear Mountain and... More

My friend and I are hiking here in Sedona and are very comfortable doing so without any male companions. Everyone is friendly on the trails so can offer help if needed. Also, the trails are really well marked so it will be difficult to get lost. A good map and advice from The Hike House is always a good idea.

we went first looking for high spf, thin, fingerless gloves that my wife saw on another hiker on the trail that day. she got those as well as some socks. my wife's hiking shoes had been giving her trouble and she found shoes there that are much more comfortable. while chatting with the clerk we mentioned which hikes we'd been...
