We climed to the top before dawn to watch the sunrise. It was spectacular. Watching the surrounding red rock light up as the sun came up was beautiful. It's a fairly easy climb with gentle slopes, steps, and a wire rail to help. The view...More

Not an easy climb for the inactive person. Can be managed if you take your time and take a few rests on the way up. Offers great views all around over Sedona.

Amazingly, there is a gorgeous hike right next to Sedona’s airport. During this hike you can see panoramic views of Sedona's best-known red rock formations from the north side. The hike begins with a steep drop off to the left so wear shoes with good...More

My buddy and I hiked this in August and it was over 100 degrees. Overall this hike offered some magnificent views but the fact that there were cacti everywhere and there was not an entirely easy path made the hike a little more strenuous compared...More

My wife and I are seniors who are not avid hikers. However, we tackled the mesa and made it to the top (with several stops along the way), for the most magnificent views of red rock country. If you are going to make the climb...More

Views were spectacular and above the city area so there were no lights to obstruct the wonderful views.

Great views here. But it was cloudy so we never got to go for the "spectacular sunset" in our week here.

Parking is limited here so early or late is a good time to visit. The easy trail gives access to a spiraling electrical energy center which can be seen in the spiraling juniper trees.

I loved the incredible view. If you're hiking make sure you have water and some shades as the hike can be pretty hot and steep.

The vortex parking lot is right by the vortex. You simply walk up a hill, about 100 ft high. Easy. The airport parking lot is about 1/4 mile up hill on the road from the vortex parking lot. There is a trail that leads down... More

There is one corner about 1/2 way up which would be a little tight if the traffic is heavy . It is next to the trail head., Which tends to get crowded.

Hello, Sedona has some awesome views. I suggest Red Rock Crossing which you can get to from Upper Red Rock Loop Road. This the the place where the typical photos are taken of Cathedral Rock, but it excellent for a family... More
