The Fay Canyon Trail hike was on our rest day, it promised flat and not too long. We found this trail to be beautiful; about an hour round trip. A rock slide area adds interest where the maintained trail stops.

This is a easy and relatively flat 2 mile round trip hike that goes deep into Fay Canyon. Enjoyed the hike and when you get to the end, you can scramble higher for great views of the forested canyon below.. About half way along the...More

From the large parking lot, cross the road for this easy but scenic trail (about 1.3 miles one way) that takes you deep into a red rock canyon. Go early in the morning to beat the seasonal crowds

Wonderful walking trail where you can hike up to a small cave and a lot of photo opportunities where you have quite a bit of shade depending on the time of day. I was with a friend who has a knee problem and used a...More

Fairly easy hike, about 2.2 miles round trip. Very gradual climb and the path is mostly clear and easy to walk on. There were rocks which one would have to step over every 20 to 30 feet. These were placed there to help with erosion....More

This is fun hike on a well traveled trail through the red rocks. There is a nice parking area right across from the trailhead. Although the parks service rated it easy and 1 mile - they must have meant 1 mile in and 1 mile back....More

We are a 69 year old couple in fairly decent shape. The main trail itself was not difficult. However, many people take the trail to view the arch in the rocks. This can be dif ficult to spot if you don't know what you are...More

If you are not used to the altitude or don't hike much, this is a great hike for you. It clocks in at a little over 2 miles, out and back, but is mostly flat and well maintained. The views are great; you get very...More

Relaxing, easy hike with great views. Would recommend the side-trip to the arch for anyone who wants a bit more vigorous, but quick, hiking (with views that make it worth it!).

I agree with the many reviewers who talk about the ease of this hike. I did this with my husband, who has difficulty with hills and is not in the best aerobic condition, and it was just perfect. We took our time, but there is...More
