My husband and I walked this trail today and found it to be very relaxing and beautiful. The rock climbing at the end of the maintained trail provides even an added level of perspective. Perfect activity for our first morning in Sedona.

Easy hike into the canyon with a big payoff in the end. At the end of the maintained trail continue up the canyon wall and hike into Half Moon Overhang with a great view of the canyon out to the Sedona Mesa

This is a gentle walk/hike in a mostly shaded path. Some boulers to navigate; some rocks to watch for, but primarily a gentle, dusty path. Heard several birds singing to one another and us and beautiful large butterflies along the way.

We enjoyed this short hike in/out. Mostly shaded. Great view of an arch if you look for it about 3/4 of the way in. Saw many skinks/lizards. Beautiful creek beds.

Nice flat Canyon hike surrounded by beautiful red rocks. Easy access -- 1 mile in and turn around. Middle of summer hike -- there is a creek bed next to trail that was dry -- would have been perfect in spring or fall/winter with some...More
