It's about 1 mile from the parking lot to the trail head in the canyon. Sounds easy, but be sure to take water in summer ! Nice perspective of towering red rock canyon sides. Some shady trees along the trail. Good short hike in hot...More

This walk is fairly level and the path is not very rocky. Good view of the canyon. The climbing is all at the end of the trail if you want to climb.

We hiked up here last month. It was one of the easier hikes in the area. The views were incredible. It's a little bit out of town, but it was worth the drive. Recommended.
