You really do need a 4 wheel drive or truck to travel on the unpaved portion of the path. Otherwise you will be sorry. Beautiful views from even the paved portion of the road. Never made it to the top

The older review you read of this road, the better it sounds. That is because the road is deliberately not maintained and deteriorating to allow for off road jeep tours. You must have a high clearance 4x4 and even then it is a careful (but...More

We were given a map of the area with this road from the ATV rental place. About half of the road was very rocky and half just fun dirt roads to drive on. Beautiful views of the rocks too!

We were driving back to Canada after a months holiday in Mesa. We decided to take Highway 17 north of Phoenix and stop in at Sedona on the way and take in the beautiful scenery one last time. My wife was navigating at the time...More

Extremely rough road, but the views are spectacular when yoi get to the top of Schnebley Road. The state needs to repair the road as it is so heavily trveled by the Jeep tours as well as tourist.

This was our frst jeep rental trail tour. We elected to take the easier but most scenic of the trails as even though I have driven more than 2.5 million miles in my lifetime, little of it has been on rocky mountain trails that a...More
