This is the obviously the main attraction of Havasu Canyon. I don't have much to say, other than the fact that it is just like the photos you've seen and it is spectacular. The water is a clear, light blue color as a result of...More

We took the helicopter ride. Otherwise you need to walk 4 hours in extreme heat with no shade just to get down to the village, plus 6 miles from the village to the last waterfall. The ride worth the price, it is an amazing experience,...More

Beautiful and the water was nice and cool. Not too crowded. We camped next to the spring water to it was easy to access it for cooking food. There is camping all along the falls and there are some beautiful spots. Watch out for the...More

Just got back from this trail yesterday! It is very hot in the Grand Canyon, so be advised. LOTS of water, electrolytes, and sodium should be packed to stay safe. Hike in the early morning or after 5pm in the heat of summer. It can...More

This place is amazing! Spent 4 nights hanging in the trees in a hammock and eating freeze-dried food and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! The water was refreshing and the walks were beautiful!

The falls are beautiful but come at a cost. These horses carry heavy loads down steep terrain in blazing heat. It is a painful vision - skin and bones and bloody bruises mark thier overworked hides. You can look away but the vision will never...More

Both trips were very different. 12 years ago there was hardly anyone around, no signs, no maps...just a few gals wandering around stumbling into an oasis. This trip was so different - there were SO many people! Don't go for the isolation and solitude. It...More

I would try calling and see if you can get a camp or lodge reservation. You never know. Do not try going without one because they will turn you around. It is going to be very hot so if you get one, you may want to have... More
