Fun place with atmosphere!

I arrived here within half an hour than closing. The kitchen still open and so the server, whose name was Holly, clocked back in and served me. She had an excellent attitude and made me feel very welcome. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Having read many of the recent reviews, I did the fish and chips for my... More

The fish and chips are really good. They make real potatoes not some bag of greasy fries. The slaw was good but just a few bites. That's why they call it a sampler. I will go back. They have the real deal going on. You should have this experience. I am going to try to go back before I leave... More

We went here after a Google search for something "near" the zoo for Zoolights. A fun choice. The whole restaurant, which used to be a saddlery, was built in Ireland and then shipped to Tempe and assembled on site in 1888. It's got a good, pub-like feel, plenty of good beers and traditional Irish foods (as well as salads, burgers,... More

Fish and chips! The best. I like to sit outside also but I wish they would turn down the mister so you don't shower in your clothes. LOL The staff has always been nice so you don't mind tipping. No one in my family gets the same meal. So I would recommend you try something new

I just moved here and wanted to go check out the local Irish pub. Well Rula Bula did just that! A classic Irish pub with all the right beers and a fantastic choice of whiskys. Good food, nice bartenders and Irish music to go along with it. Try it out. Slainta!

We love this local pub. Food is great and drinks always deliver! The decor is authentic from Ireland. Be sure to ask your server for a little history of the place! We take all of our guests here. We can ride our bikes and outdoor seating is lovely.

Food seemed fairly authentic. We had the Irish stew and shepards pie, both were good. The rowdy and cigar smokey atmosphere kept us from dining outside. Service was great.

Authentic pub atmosphere, parts were brought over from Ireland. Servers were great, knowledgeable, very patient and accommodating when I couldn't decide what I wanted. Nice beer selection. Food was good! We shared the veggie stuffed potato skins. I had the strawberry salad and substituted the Cod for the chicken. My husband had tenderloin tips. We were happy with all of... More

We've been here a number of times, today for lunch. Sliders & wings were fantastic. The bartender is such a great guy & so attentive. We live the old time charm this pub holds. Highly recommend!

This was my third visit to Rula Bula. This time we brought a group that had joined us for a weekend of spring training baseball. I was a little nervous about bringing friends after reading some of the recent reviews. Had the restaurant gone downhill? Nope! Two of us ordered the Shepherd's Pie, one lamb stew, one Irish Dip sandwich,... More
