We didn't know what to expect when we contacted Jim at Apache ATV and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. He took my wife and I through Las Cienegas NCA near Sonoita, and saw some beautiful country side we otherwise wouldn't have seen. I was always looking over my shoulder in amazement of the... More

We heard about this tour through a park we stay at in the winters and decided to try one. We met up with Jim (owner/guide) at the entrance of the Empire Cienega Reserve just east of Sonoita. The machines were out, in good shape and ready to go when we arrived. He also had a trailer with a portable washroom... More

Jim led our tour consisting of two adults and two children on two two-person ATVs. He provided good information prior to the excursion and supplied the children with helmets and gloves (as it was cold). The ATVs were well maintained and simple to operate. The tour consisted of easy riding at between 15 and 25 mph through the Las Cienegas... More

No goggles provided as in the past. Inexperienced riders were given machine without power steering. So-called scenic ride was done at more than 30 MPH. Impossible to keep up. Not a good day.

Great trip with the family. Jim was a wonderful, friendly tour guide. Lunch under the cotton trees was lovely. Even a swing for the kids at lunch.

My first time riding with Jim to the Empire Ranch area and it was fantastic. We had a beautiful day. Jim was waiting for us at the designated spot with the ATVs ready to go. He thoroughly explained how to use the machine and off we went. He sure does know the history of the land. I highly recommend a... More

Great tour. Zipping around on ATVs and looking at that crisp desert air. Jim, the tour guide, was a pleasant guide and funny. I recommend if you like off road and great tours. Thanks again Jim.

The Apache ATV Tours are a great way to explore the wilds of Southern Arizona that you otherwise might never get a chance to see. You'll ride on ATVs that are very user-friendly and don't require any experience. My family completely enjoyed a four-hour ride through national park land and mountain passes. In the process we were able to get... More

I've previously reviewed Apache ATV Tours and I continue to be blown away by Mr. Jim, his wealth of knowledge and willingness to customize tours for group needs! This latest adventure was a 6 hour foray into the Dragoon Mountains and the town of Pearce. Our group consisted of riders of varying skill levels and Mr. Jim made the trip... More

We had such a great time with Jim and Wayne. The tour was great for our 10 year old twins and our 16 year old son. Quote from our 10 year old son "this is the most fun I've had my entire life!" Thanks Jim and Wayne for helping us to create a lifetime memory.
