We hadnt expected anything much from Reptilandia, but were very pleasantly surprised. The environments are great, the layout works very well as an exhibit and the animals are all outstanding examples. Hard to choose favorites but the Caiman lizards and the Varanus spilotes are truly world class. There is something here whether you have a passing interest in reptiles or... More

Excellent setup! Very educational to understand the venemous and non venemous varieties of snakes. Good to get a close up look at the different varieties and have a good understanding of what each variety looks like.

Lots to see. Great to see things close up! Easy to manage with the kids. The baby giant tortoises eating lettuce were adorable!!

This place had a lot of reptiles, from snakes to lizards to frogs. The guy running it is very knowledgeable, and shows a great love for his animals. The animals are from all over the world, and yes, there is a huge Komodo dragon. But don't skip the other critters! There are some neat ones. The enclosures are large, and... More

Regardless of the weather, this place is a must-see and quite incredible in its collection of reptiles including snakes, lizards, turtles, crocodiles - SO much to see. It is a self-guided tour with placards noting each animal's information in Spanish and English, and the tour is quite inexpensive compared to other attractions of similarity in the area. I never get... More

Adults can enjoy this place, too! If you are a reptile lover or, as in my case, you are traveling with a reptile lover, you should go visit this place! They have a huge collection with well maintained grounds. I have heard that Friday is feeding day, though we didn't get to experience this. This might be something really cool... More

The owner of this has built an amazing place. You can really tell the love he has for these amazing creatures. There are so many reptiles, snakes, turtles, and even local plants to admire. All of the enclosures are well designed for the animals, and for your viewing. Well maintained grounds and very friendly owner. Thanks for your hard work.... More

Quetzal and his team have done a phenomenal job at this facility! He's passionate about reptiles, and it clearly shows in what he has created. The reptiles are healthy and all in clean, habitat appropriate enclosures. Yes, the water is green, but that's algae from being in the sun! Not because it's dirty. It's NATURAL. And that's what you find... More

We came by on a whim, and thought that this would be similar to a place we went to in Panama in El Valle. This was so much better - so much to see - not just in number of exhibits but in the variety of what there was to see. Very cool - and I'm not really a snake... More

A large variety of well cared for reptiles. The Komodo dragon is definitely the highlight. My kids, 8 and 11 years old, enjoyed it very much.
