My wife & I stopped in to check it out and see what there was to offer inside. Pretty nice scale model of the Canyon. A nice 8 min video about the Canyon, Park rangers you can talk to. And some other displays. A lot of people milling around. We didn't spend too much time in there maybe an hour.

Very busy. Not much help except with shuttle bus. Better off getting your information at the park. I believe this is part of a concession.

Very informative with a 20 minute move on the grand canyon. Maps for trails and other sites. Long line but went fast. Gift shops, snack shops, plenty of rest rooms and a place to rent bikes.

A must see natural wonder. Visitor center has a lot of helpful information. Has two informational videos. The bus transportation system is great. The center connects the blue and orange routes. Park at the center and utilize the buses. Parking is limited at the other viewpoints and trail heads. Do research before going to visit. Lots of ways to enjoy... More

East side of the village is beautiful especially if you've never seen the Grand Canyon. But if you're going to only have several days, I would go to the West End of south rim first. When comparing the East side to the west side of the south rim, I believe the West is more spectacular from a photographers viewpoint. Only... More

The place to stop in to prior to viewing the canyon. The center is the location of the shuttle stop for the Kaibab/Rim route, the Village route, and the Tusayan route. Visitors can find drinking water, restrooms, and picnic tables. An informative canyon video runs on regular intervals.

The information center is a great place to guide you to the best locations to see the canyon. They were very helpful in highlighting our trip for both the north and south rims. In additions they have pamphlets, and booklets which will well identifying prominent trails, lookout, points, campgrounds, restaurants, and restrooms. It is located in a very popular area of... More
