The train ride was worth the time and money. My granddaughters loved it! Our car was lucky enough to have "Kathy with a K" for our train attendant. She was super informative, helped plan our time at the canyon, and played games with the passengers. She was very helpful with all the passengers, helping those with bus tours scheduled as... More

This is a great family adventure but be advised that people can and do "fall" into the Canyon to their death at about the rate of one a month. This canyon is grand but also the trails require sturdy shoes at the least as the trail can be slanted, slippery, and full of donkey dung. My 69 year old husband... More

The observation dome car provided great views; we didn't realize how fast we were traveling until going on the lower level and seeing the... More

Overall, the train was a great experience, only wish it moved a little faster (3 hours to cover 62 miles). The "wild west" show was well thought out and very entertaining. Definitely recommend watching it if you ride the train. A little pricey overall but fun.

We did the four day package which included staying over in the Grand Canyon. We also upgraded our train seats to Luxury Parlor which was worth the extra price. It gave us a fantastic view and allowed us to go outside on the train platform for some wonderful pictures! Lodging at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and the Maswik Lodge... More

I heartily recommend this activity to anyone - especially parents with children 4 and over. It's fun and reasonably priced. It's a memory that will last a life time.
