It isn't the fanciest place but my wife loves animals and enjoyed being able to get so close to them, touch them and feed them. She had never been so close to deer. She was like a happy child there.

It's really nice to walk around a herd of deer, feeding and petting them. My teens absolutely enjoyed themselves! Also, the gift shop has some interesting stuff on sale. Check it out!

So sorry not to respond sooner. You can visit in the rain but it is outdoors so won't be as enjoyable.
