Under a porgram to revitalize the area. Locals boat and fish in area but not a place for tourist. A lot of gravel roads.

Our outing to Mittry lake was enjoyed by about 25 of us where we gathered to have a wiener roast. The area we chose was sheltered from the wind so it was warm and comfortable to be out in this area.

Had the most amazing 10 days camping, eating, getting to know each other by the campfire surrounded by this beautiful lake setting. I will never forget this place. The birds and ducks. A hidden jewel. Easy access to restrooms and trash. Hiking trails all around....More

It's stark and unfinished, but free and convenient to Yuma. There are no amenities, beyond a picnic shelter and boat launch, but there's water here for relief from the desert dry heat, with campsites all along, up for grabs. Fishing, boating and sitting around appear...More

We were looking forward to hiking - but nothing like that really exists here. Plenty of free campsites. Could be cool if you like to fish.

This is a very good park to relax, fish or for off roading. There are picnic tables available or just stop along the lake for a quite time. There are good boat launchs also. There is lots of waterfowl on the lake.

It's an out of the way location, but appears to be a favorite for Dry Camping, Fishing, and Boating. There is a good burger place at the dock area.

Great for free camping. Not that far from town but a little grim. Maybe I am spoiled from traveling all over the country, but there are definitely prettier places out there than this.

Mittry Lake is an awesome place to camp. We were able to get a spot to camp right at the base of a jetty. There were a lot of birds to watch and lovely sunrises and sunsets. The fishing must be good because a lot...More
