We live close to the chapel and it is a beautiful and serene place to visit. Also, very interesting architecture.

We drove down to Bella Vista with the specific purpose of photographing it. When we arrived, a wedding was just ending and the guests and bridal party were leaving - which left it empty and ready for the cameras! Though it's winter right now and the trees are bare, the setting is still beautiful. A wonderful place to visit -... More

This most spectacular glass and steel chapel is situated in a wooded section of Bella Vista, overlooking Lake Norwood, one of several area lakes. The paved walking trail surrounding the chapel provides an opportunity for a lovely and gently rolling stroll around the area. Easy even for older and younger populations--plenty of places to stop and sit a spell.

Designed by famous architect E. Fay Jones, the chapel is breathtakingly beautiful. Set amongst the trees on the shore of Lake Norwood, the chapel is a spot of serenity in our everyday lives. Whether you visit in the winter or spring, summer, or fall, the chapel will surround you with the beauty of nature in the Ozarks.

Scenery is beautiful, serene and peaceful! My daughter rode her bike to the chapel and we hunted for bella vista rocks and looked out at the lake.

Don't miss visiting this Chapel. It is a beautiful structure in beautiful surroundings. When you walk in, you know you are in a very special place. Nice walking path around the chapel. Next to a lake. It is a popular place for weddings.

After parking your car, it is a short walk back to the chapel office and on the the chapel. Walking down the path, I did not see the structure. Wintertime provided a clear view through the trees but the structure seemed to melt into the mottled background. Then I came in line with the front of the building and saw... More

Visited with family over Xmas. I can only imagine how much more beautiful it would be in the summer months. Nonetheless, it certainly is a place to visit.
