Lovely small temple with many golden statues and a shrine. It costs just 50 R and is nice to visit, if you are near this area.

I took a half day excursion to Patan from Kathmandu, and the first place I visited was this temple. As its name indicates, the golden building of the temple is photogenic. Foreigner mast pay 50 Rs for entrance.

This beautiful temple survived the earthquake, when so much damage is around about this relatively intact temple lifts the spirit, all is not lost
