This is a really great hike, and since it's off the beaten path, you feel as if you've discovered something secret. The hike is an out-and-back (really DOWN and back!) so it's a great workout, punctuated by the refreshing waterfalls. The five waterfalls are all different. Our favorite was at the bottom of the hike, but we enjoyed getting wet... More

Fantastic place to visit. Allow at least a few hours for all waterfalls, also we recommend to bring snaks and swim suits and spend there 3-4 hours. The road/drive/horse trail or whatever else you can call that is pretty bad. We had a small car and hit the bottom many times, luckily we didnt lose any tires. Make sure you... More

My husband & I just happen to come across this beautiful gem as we were heading to Tilaran. There are 5 bigger waterfalls with the 4th one being the most spectacular. There are also 2 more smaller waterfalls but all are worth seeing. You can even take a dip into the pools at the 1st & 3rd waterfalls. We highly... More

The road is rather dicey, we had a small SUV which was helpful. The water is cold, but very refreshing. Trail conditions are better than the road. :)

These waterfalls are absolutely beautiful! As mentioned by others, the drive to the parking lot is narrow and very bumpy. Once at the parking lot, you climb down a path or stairs to visit one of 4 waterfalls ending up at bottom waterfall called "the Slide". You can swim at number 3 where there are bathrooms, change room, tables and... More

This is a great side excursion if you are in the Lake Arenal / Tileran area. The drive is a bit bumpy and if you do not have a 4x4 I recommend you walk to the falls from where you buy your tickets versus driving. The falls themselves are beautiful and you need to walk to all four to get the... What a perfect day! We were blessed to see these amazing waterfalls on a beautiful sunny day with very few other tourists. We brought our picnic lunch and sat in the shade at a table near the 3rd waterfall, enjoying the butterflies and the scenery. We got in the water, which was very refreshing, and even swam right up to... More

We enjoyed the exercise of getting out and climbing up and down the steps to see the four different waterfalls. We are glad we did not meet any cars going the other way when we were driving in or out as the road is very narrow, hilly and windy. Only saw two or three other couples and four people on... More

Not too strenuous a hike and beautiful waterfalls. Can't go off the trail. Even though they say you could swim in the pools, it didn't look like we would have wanted to do so.

This was a wonderful waterfall trip. Beautiful falls and views. We also did the horseback ride and a glad we did. The views were amazing. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, his English was pretty good too.
