This is not a zoo, and don't expect to get a show. This is a retirement community for mostly old cats that have been rescued from undesirable environments. And Big cats in general sleep 18 or so hours a day. However, Turpentine Creek is doing...More

Ths tour of the tiger sanctuary, which also includes rescued bears, is amazing! You can walk the 1/2 mile tour and/or take the guided tour bus through it. The guides will tell you all about how/why the tigers were rescued. The sanctuary just added two...More

Had a wonderful time. Took the trolley tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and you could tell she really loved and respected the animals. Made the cats seem bigger than life. Will definitely go again. Worth the trip!

Beautiful, happy, well cared for animals. Rescues...everyone one of them with sad former lives! Really a highlight of our trip to Eureka Springs!

I have wanted to go to this sanctuary for years now. My husband booked this weekend for us for our 20 anniversary. What I learned about what they do for these animals is just completely indescribable. If you r interested enough to read this review...More

Our visit today was meant to be just for fun to kill time but we had a great time. Very educational. We will visit again next time we are in town.

A wonderful retreat for adopted big cats where they can happily live out their lives in peace. They have their own vet hospital on site. Some other types of animals also live there. Can take a vehicle tour or walking tour.

Worth the time and money. I saw this place on Animal planet. They work hard to rescue animals. Trolley tour was great for people with disabilities.

Check the times of tours. A self-guided is okay, but there are stories about the animals I missed. The animals were beautiful and seemed happy.More

784cheriq, Thank you for visiting, we hope you get the chance to come back again soon and see all the animals. Taking a tour is really the best way to go, you do hear more about the animals and see a different group of animals....More

About how close do you get to the animals. We have been to another facility near Branson and you get as close as 3 feet from their big cats.

At our refuge, our safety fence is about 5 feet away from our habitat fencing. Depending on where in the habitat the animal is you could be as close as 5 feet away.

I saw the Hotel Impossible show featuring your beautiful cabins, tents, and other lodging options... I am wondering the price range a family of four with two children, ages ten and eight, could expect to pay for a weekend stay with you in the spring or fall months probably. Thank you so much for all you do for the rescued animals!

Great question! Currently the lodging is $175 per night and $20 extra per person. Check out our website for more information.
