While the view was amazing, I couldn't get over the strong sulfur smell. Water temp was mostly lukewarm, but one could find warm spots. If you can overlook the sulphuric smell, I would certainly make a stop here.

We enjoy spas and enjoyed the Blue Lagoon apart from other visitors lack of cleanliness (TA havent published my review for some reason) but the Myvatn pool was quite different. Much less busy and none of the shower dodgers of the BL, made for a...More

Large lagoon pool with beautiful blue water is the centre of the place with hot tubs and steam baths. We had a nice snowy evening in the baths, which really made the night. In comparison to several other pools and thermals baths we visited in...More

Nice to spend an hour or two and just relax while you're in the Myvatn area. Since I recommend spending a few days in this area with all the attractions, this is a good alternative to the blue lagoon which is busier and more crowded.

Stopped here at the end of a cold day filled with walking and sightseeing. It's about $42 US dollars (extra if you rent a towel etc). The outermost pool was the coldest and I didn't find it warm enough for me. Stuck to the inner...More

If you can drive, driving around Iceland is way cheaper than getting a tour. And you can see everything on your own time.
How much does it cost?
