It’s one of the greatest, perhaps biggest churches in and around Dublin. This place is mostly silent, less crowded and clean all the time. As usual, during cloudy day view is awesome 😍 Many great restaurants very close to this place so Must visit place.

Such a lovely place to visit in Maynooth. Green and more green as you walk the grounds in front and behind the college. The chapel was amazing and the tour provided by Brendan was really interesting with historical bits we have never heard before.

A venerable seminary, founded in 1785, it became a full-fledged university 20 years ago. The old buildings, designed by Pugin, still exude that solemn quality that one expects to find at an institute of 3rd level education. The new library and an ever expanding new...More

A great amenity in Maynooth. Acres of parkland, Gothic Architecture and the fantastic chapel. Have lunch in Pugin Hall.... Harry Potteresque

The Old campus of Maynooth University is a beautiful place to meander. Parking is available on campus for a charge or externally on the street. Dogs are permitted on leads and there are some well laid out walking paths through the playing fields.

Please be aware that this is fully operating University, and neighbouring Catholic seminary sharing the same campus, so access to buildings and the art works and treasures is limited. However if you are lucky there are some phenomenal places here. These are hidden gems that...More

We love walking through the College and visiting the Seminary. It is a beautifully sacred place that lives up to the Saint Patrick name:)

Nice place to go for a walk. In auttumm the color of the trees are so beautiful, even if there are fences, because when I was here, They were repearing the building.
