This cemetery is high up on the hill via Rock Street. Dirt and rock parking with private residences all around. There are several old family plots (the Walker family is huge) adjacent to the Confederate graves. Mostly unmarked/unreadable stones but there are some, including a...More

A very touching tribute to the Confederate War dead apart from the noise of the town. This place is well worth the visit. It tells the story of loss and sacrifice that a thousand in-your-face statues set up in a thousand public places fail to...More

I am glad that this cemetery has respectfully maintained our American history. It is a slippery slope to remove Confederate statues and history. It is part of our history and important to remember. Not black or white but American History with all of its warts.

As cemeteries go it won't take you long but as the reason you built one it is humbling and uplifting the love of the ladies who wanted to bring their men home and raised the money to do it. Beautifully done and peaceful.

This place is not politically correct. It is real history, both U.S. and Confederate. One of the oldest cemetery in Arkansas.

It's small, not a lot to look at but it was nice to see at least once. It was a little ere to see alone not going to lie but it was cool to at least see it once in my life.

The very ground is hallowed and sacred. Monuments provide a history lesson. Don't miss one of Arkansas's largest trees marked with a plaque. In fall, the trees are glorious.

A nice well maintained cemetery and monument dedicated to, I am estimating 200 young men who died while serving in the Confederate Army near and in Fayetteville. A good place to reflect on the sacrifice and suffering of these men from Texas, Louisiana, Missouri and...More

Visited this center and wished it was better maintained. They are monuments on the east side of the cemetery that they do not even mow. Very few tombstones have names or dates.
