Be a great day out weather permitting. We had a 10mth old child with us, path ways arent great for pushing a pram. Dont think i would return and pay the fee bit pricey.

Whilst the gardens yes are very beautiful. The backdrop is amazing the house itself was such a let down I definitely expected more rooms to have been refurbished. A bit disappointed.

The family history here is arresting, but the views over the lake, park walks, and the walled garden made the day for us.

Belvedere is a gorgeous place; the setting, house & lake are spectacular & the stories of the 'wicked earl' & his poor wife as well as more recent residents are equally fascinating.
