The bar is clean and good service and downstairs, trackside there is good banter and the sand flicking up from the dogs going by is always fun. Also, during the racing, the train... More

I love a night at the dogs, and often visit Shelbourne. Visited Mullingar last night with my wife. Pleasant enough seating, but so many things were slightly off. There is no mood music between races which makes for an oddly quiet and subdued atmosphere where the only sounds are whispered tones and knifes & forks. The tote pool guarantees were... More

Was over at xmas for Mahers xmas work party. (work is a strong word to be associated with Money Maher) We had our own table lovely food and plenty of drink. A few good wins that night then lost it all on the last because of sonny and King! All in all great venue

Not as fancy and glittery as Dublin but more fun for it. Feels lije you're closer to the action. Nice food in the restaurant, usual extras, tote etc. Lovely atmosphere, would recommend highly to anyone looking for an easygoing night out

I came here as part of a Christmas Party. It was a great night. Everyone got into the eve and won abit at the dogs. The food was finger food and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly and the bathrooms were clean. No complaints!

Christmas Party 2016. Cost per head 50.00. Entrance fee i less allowance for music - 40.00 a head for a meal which was re heated and bland..... To top it all we were in a dog track unable to put bets on because either they were understaffed on the night or those that were working could't be bothered to cover... More

Always enjoy coming here. Great little venue. Nice food in the main bar/viewing area and a lovely vibe. A short walk from the main street, plenty of parking.
