The original reason for Sinaia

Monastery build by a returning pilgrim and since then a second larger church building has been built. If you go to look at the old church look for the different balcony styles.

Lovely little monastery. Got 2 sections. A new and older part. Worth a 30-40 min stop to see it all. We saw a service which was nice. Would recommend.

This is worth a quick visit if you find yourself in Sinaia. It wont take long to see it, but the old church is worth seeing. The fresco painting is very good. It houses one of the earliest books with the romanian language a bible

It's a place worth visiting. Unfortunately we went there in march and the museum was closed but we admired the church. It's a peaceful place.

Sinaia Monastery, Hotels in Sinaia also called the cathedral of Bucegi Mountains, is the first construction in the area of the present resort, being built at the end of the 17th century by spatar Mikhail Cantacuzino, after his return from the Sinai Mountain.
