After walking around, this plaza was great to grab a wine and rest a bit. Many people were either walking around or kids playing. There's a few places to sit down and relax. Even a Carrefour to grab any snacks or toiletries nearby.
It is a cute plaza with colorful ornaments. It is not a must see, but if there, take the chance to walk around and enjoy the small streets around.
The 'local' claim is that the tiling in the plaza is the best outside of the Plaza de Espana in Sevilla (which is fantastic). Not sure it rates that highly but it is nice and in the sunshine very welcoming. The plaza is quite small
This city lacks terribly of soul, this is a place that wouldn’t even be mentioned if it was in any major city in Europe but here it seems to be a thing.
Except for obvious old part of Algeciras worth seeing it is very vibrant area with restaurants and bars around frequented with a lot of people. Particularly in evening hours. Restaurants and bars are with very affordable or we could even say, very cheap prices.
A typical Spanish town. Easy to get around with friendly interesting places. Pedestrianised Main Street. Good museum,shops and cafes.
A colourful and lively plaza. Worth seeing the tiles of the banks and the frogs of the fountain. Lots of tapas bars around.
The bars & restos in and around this lovely old square offer good affordable food. The staff in these hostelries were friendly & helpful guiding us through the novelty of "tapas" .
Lovely spot for a coffee break in one of the cafes or to sit in the square itself to watch the world go by. The lanes surrounding the plaza have a good cross section of businesses. This is a better cared for area than that...More
