On this our first visit to Jaen we had been to the castle (excellent), the cathedral (stunning), and left the Banos Arabes until our final day. As an EU citizen we were given free access to all floors and easily spent a couple of hours meandering our way around. Highlights were: Banos Arabes; interiors of rural homes; photos of rural... This was our second visit; our first was in 2004. Between the Arab baths, the cultural museum and the cafe on the top floor with its panoramic view of the city, I give it 5 stars. I thought 15 years ago that it was one the best cultural/historic museums that I had ever visited and this second visit has not... More

We had no idea about this great monument in Andalusia. I think are the biggest "banos arabes" in Europe, the building has been recently updated.

Although itś the baños arabes that draw people here, there is actually much more to this place. The arab baths are fascinating, but the rest of this palace is really nice and the museum exhibits are very interesting. And all for free.

Large converted town house containing extensive moorish baths with Roman remains on lower floor. Has numerous historical cultural display rooms with artifacts of daily life from the past showing agricultural and industrial objects of local interest.

Well presented and interesting site of the Arabian baths, together with quirky folk-style museum and some art work, with a nice cafeteria with superb views. Best spot in Jaen!

The largest preserved Arab baths are worth the visit in the Cultural Centre. Entry to the whole centre is free and a good part of a morning is required to visit the other parts of the building including religion, childhood, transport and domestic museum pieces. A temporary photographic exhibition on the lower floor was also thought provoking. The viewpoint on... More

The baths are fascinating and well worth a visit. The museum has many items on display relating to local life over the centuries. We spent a long time here. It also has a roof terrace with great views over the city.

Really impressive remains of Arab baths. Museum of Jaen is also part of the complex and is very informative. Needs a good couple of hours to look around
